Connecticut Shooting

On Friday, Dec. 14 2012, a man walked into Sandy Hook Elementary in Newtown, a small town in Connecticut and killed 20 students and 6 adults.

The killers mom was his first victim, killing her at their family home. Later carrying on to Sandy Hook elementary where his mother worked. He killed 20 young students between the grades of kindergarten and grade four and 4 employees of the Elementary  as well as his mother and himself.

The shooting is the nations second deadliest school shooting. The first was Virginia Tech massacre in 2007 where 32 people and the gunman died.

This relates to law 12 becuase in Canada we havw more rules on possesions of firearms compared to the U.S. Which in a case like this proves it is a good thing. Also, killing multiple people is a first degree murder.

How I See It....

Reading these articles make me very un-easy and sad. Is this really what our world has come too? This story sticks close to me because I was in New York City at the time, which isn't all too far from the town.
