The killers mom was his first victim, killing her at their family home. Later carrying on to Sandy Hook elementary where his mother worked. He killed 20 young students between the grades of kindergarten and grade four and 4 employees of the Elementary as well as his mother and himself.

The shooting is the nations second deadliest school shooting. The first was Virginia Tech massacre in 2007 where 32 people and the gunman died.
This relates to law 12 becuase in Canada we havw more rules on possesions of firearms compared to the U.S. Which in a case like this proves it is a good thing. Also, killing multiple people is a first degree murder.

How I See It....
Reading these articles make me very un-easy and sad. Is this really what our world has come too? This story sticks close to me because I was in New York City at the time, which isn't all too far from the town.

ReplyDeleteIt's so unfortunate for the families of the victimized children. I hope we won't see anything as horrendous as this. Anyway, I agree with Brittany when she says that "the article you chose is a very important issue in the community today." It's important to get this sort of information across so that we can put an end to it!
